Hello everyone,
Mike and I are concerned about the resignation of the Grounds Committee and the recent call to replace it with new members. We are putting together a letter to the Board requesting a special meeting to discuss this issue. According to policy, if 10 units request a special meeting membership is obligated to respond with a General Meeting to discuss the issue. It is our belief that it is in the co-ops best interest to have a thoughtful discussion with membership and the Board about why this happened and how to respectfully move forward. It’s important for both the volunteers to have a place to voice their concerns, as well as having an opportunity for the membership to better understand what happened so any underlying issues can be cooperatively addressed.
